Write to the desk
The editorial desk reads every message. Corrections are handled the same day they are confirmed.

What the desk is
The Indian Premium is an independent editorial desk. It is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser, and it holds no client money. The desk publishes one measurement: a domestic rate taken from the association's own publication, and an international price taken from two independent sources and converted to rupees a gram. Every figure carries the date and the hour it was read. The sources are named under every table, with a link, so a reader can check the figure at its publisher.
Responsibility sits with the publication's editorial desk. No individual is named, because the measurement is the work of a desk, not a person. The desk reads the sources at fixed hours, republishes what they state, and answers corrections. A figure that is wrong is corrected and the correction is dated. The desk does not add a margin, a forecast, or a comment on where the price will go.
What to write the desk about
Write to the desk about a figure that looks wrong, a source that has moved or closed, a question about how the measurement is taken, or a correction. If a published rate does not match the source it names, that is the most important message the desk can receive. If a linked source now redirects or no longer exists, the desk wants to know. A question about the hour a rate was read, or the conversion used for the international price, is answered in writing.
Do not write about personal investment decisions. The desk does not know a reader's holdings, income, or goals, and nothing on the site is investment advice, a recommendation or an offer. The figures describe what things cost, not what a reader should do. A message asking for a tip or a prediction will not receive a personalised answer, because the desk does not have one.
How a correction is handled
A correction is dated on the page. If a figure is wrong, the desk changes it and adds a note with the date of the change. The original figure is not left standing. The correction note states what was changed and when, so a reader can see that the desk found the error and fixed it. The desk does not wait for a reader to ask; if it finds its own error, it corrects it the same way.
A correction does not mean the desk is unreliable; it means the desk is accountable. The sources themselves sometimes revise a figure after publication. In that case, the desk updates the page and dates the update. A reader who spots a mismatch between the site and the source should write, and the desk will re-read the source and correct or explain.
What the desk cannot answer
This desk cannot answer personal investment advice, help with a broker's account, or tips. If a reader has an account with the broker linked from this site, that account is with the broker, not with this desk. The broker's own site is operated by someone else, under its own terms and its own privacy policy, and following the link leaves this site. The desk cannot log in, reset a password, or explain a margin call.
The desk also cannot answer questions about what a reader should buy, hold, or sell. Those are decisions for the reader alone. The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link, and is paid a commission if a reader opens an account there. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. That is the only commercial relationship, and it does not change what the desk answers.
